Founded in 2019 by Paramedic Jeffrey Zgoda, 9-Echo-1 Training LLC was built on a simple principle: train like lives depend on it—because they do.
What started as a small mission to improve pre-hospital education in Western New York has evolved into a nationally recognized provider of high-intensity, experience-driven training. From local EMS agencies to large-scale conferences, 9-Echo-1 Training continues to raise the standard for realism, professionalism, and performance in emergency medicine education.
Our instructors come from diverse operational backgrounds—paramedics, firefighters, tactical medics, law-enforcement officers, and hospital clinicians—each bringing years of real-world experience into the classroom. This depth of expertise allows us to bridge textbook knowledge with field application, helping every student not only learn the material but master the ability to apply it when it matters most.
